Antique Satsuma ceramic pendant in gold wash sterling silver setting with hand painted silk ribbon with adjustable cinch bead closure. The Japanese Satsuma pendant is in a gilded silver setting. It has the characteristic cream color and fine crackle in the glaze. The enamel work is really fine depicting a stand of flowers. A dark blue border with gold enamel ornamentation completes the composition. 1.5 inches in diameter. The ribbon can be expanded to 30 inches. A small amount of wear to the gilt design on the border, otherwise excellent condition.
